Video Delay Privacy Policy

Effective September 27, 2026

The short version: Video Delay doesn’t collect any data. There’s no account, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Your video stays on your device.

Camera

The app uses your camera to show you a delayed replay. While the camera is on, recent video is kept temporarily on your device so it can be played back and so you can save a rep. That temporary video is overwritten continuously and is deleted when you leave the app. It never leaves your device.

Saved reps

When you tap Save rep, the app saves that clip in its own storage on your device. You can delete saved reps at any time in the app, and they’re removed if you delete the app.

Photos

If you turn on “Also save reps to Photos,” the app adds saved clips to your photo library. It asks only for permission to add to Photos. It never reads, uploads, or changes your existing photos or videos.

Drawings and settings

Lines you draw and your settings are stored on your device only.

Sharing

If you share a rep, it goes only where you send it, using the iOS share sheet.

Crash reports

The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting code. If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide me with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. You can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

This policy covers the app. The davidb.app website is covered by the website privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, I’ll update it here and change the date above.
